I can’t take credit for this story but I will re-tell it and add a little.

Strawberry daiquiris are probably the worst thing to ask a bartender for. No one actually wants to take out the blender and blend your stupid drink.  The way we make our daiquiris is 1 1/4oz of rum and a whole lot of sugary strawberry puree.

So a table orders them and complains “there ain’t no liquors in this”, well there were right on 2 accounts.

1. You’re right there ain’t no liquors, there is just one liquor
2. You’re right there ain’t no liquors because your glass is fucking empty!

Don’t ask for a refund after you finished your drink.  If you take a sip or two and aren’t satisfied, I will get you something else without charge.  But DO NOT drink it all and expect a refund.  You will never taste LIQUORS in your daiquiri, because it is so damn sweet and there is barely alcohol to begin with… sorry
