Adventures Behind The Bar

I open the bar on Monday mornings, which usually means it is pretty slow on the alcohol front, except for when this man walks in at about 11:45am.  He orders a house vodka and tonic, after returning with his drink he orders a cup of soup.  Within the next 40 minutes or so he orders three more, pays and then leaves.

The same man returns 30 minutes later and says ‘That was fast’.  The bar is right next to a court house so I asked him if he was a juror. He says no and that he had a court hearing for a DUI! I was kind of like… uh.. ok.  He tells me a story how he was driving his friend home and he didn’t have a side view mirror and when he took a left turn he wrecked a COP CAR!

A COP CAR?!

He says he got off easy and only has to do a drug/alcohol problem and the record will be expunged.  So what does he do?! Orders 3 more vodka tonics to celebrate… somewhere in there is something wrong… haha
